VACUUM MOLDING

Thermal molding

THE VACUUM MOLDING PROCESS

This method involves the manufacturing of a matrix (made of aluminium for large series and of MDF or wood for small series or single products), after that the sheet material is heated to a specific temperature, which varies by material, and then, with the help of vacuum, the material obtains the shape of the respective pre-made matrix. The cycle is completed by additional cutting of the detail, which has undergone vacuum molding for precision shaping.

Applications: There are numerous applications.
